Pros

Benefits - 100% company paid medical, dental, vision insurance. 20 days of PTO. Bank holidays. Gym reimbursement.

Cons

Poor compensation in terms of salary and incentive pay compared to similar roles at other financial insitutations. Executives don't care how employees feel about changes. "If you don't like it then quit" attitude and this was actually said during a district meeting. No growth potential. Very rarely are there positions that open up that are not Member Consultant positions. No consistency on how manangers review, coach, and reprimand employees. Managers also pick and choose favorites. One person can be exceeding their goals while the other could just be meeting their goals and the person that is performing at the minimum will get a better review and raise than the person that's overachieving. Really low employee moral.

Pros

The institution is very good at employee engagement although you do have to drink the Cool-Aid. Benefits are great for the employee, but not so much for dependents. Good vacation/sick leave benefits and great co-workers.

Cons

Tukwila Corporate location sucks. You have to bring your lunch or drive to SouthCenter to get food. The employee floors aren't very inviting...gray carpet, black cabinets, stained chairs and low light. As far as I could tell there is not any manager oversight...one manager might be great, the one next door might be punitive.

Pros

-4 weeks PTO -ethical organization to work for -great benefits

Cons

-no sick leave, any time you take off due to sickness is counted against your attendance -sales goals are not achievable except by the select few who will get the "right" member to get more loans -working Saturday's -not enough staff, there is always a 30-60 minute wait daily -high turnover -very poor pay -unless you have prior experience, it seems almost impossible to advance to a different position
