Steady paycheck and good people to work with job is rather easy. For the most part you know what to expect daily

Cons

Management has no clue what they are doing. If you are hoping to move up quick it's at least a year maybe 2 off. Members are entitled and you have to cater to them. I would not recommend this job for anyone.

Pros

BECU has the most extraordinary culture of any place I've ever worked. They truly live the values and listen (and take action on!) employee feedback. People are smart, talented and always respectful. The senior leadership team walks the talk and truly cares about each and every employee. I didn't know anything about BECU or the industry when the recruiter contacted me...and I'm so glad I had that first conversation!

Cons

I live in Seattle, so my commute isn't ideal...but it's manageable. It would be nice to have an on-site cafeteria with healthy options. Peach and Avanti are fine, but I miss having access to a salad bar.
