      Good place if you're on a good team

      Pros

      Team coherence is good, sufficient automation, team management is generally competent.

      Cons

      Oblivious upper management, 2-year development plans that somehow never happen, minimal raises or bonuses, internal growth is hampered. Parent company has a serious case of Not Invented Here syndrome, which means you'll be using a lot of in-house tools that don't really work very well.

      Pros

      The people are generally great to work with, and managers are understanding and flexible. Although there is always plenty to do, I find the work-life balance great and work is not stressful. Scientific background is valued and company mission is nice

      Cons

      There has not been enough official flexibility to fully work from home and instead we are supposed to do a hybrid schedule. Some tools/processes we have to use are not the smoothest to work with.

      Horrible hodgepodge of software packages that claim to be "interoperable" but provide a really horrible user experience.
