A sad, sad, company without a backbone

Pros

- Some really nice people to work with (SOME) - Love of pets

Cons

- Leadership is awful. They clearly received no leadership training but were simply promoted because they were good at their role, not good at managing people. - No backbone. No strategic leadership. I think the fish rots from the head with Mark Bissell. Best chance they have at recovering as a business will be putting Max in, hiring more actual leaders that have PROVEN leadership EXPERIENCE. - No one actually cares about you. You are a number. HR is a joke. Don't waste your time trying to provide feedback to "improve the company". They don't care. Will not listen. Will not improve.

Ok company

Pros

Company is small so not much politics.

Cons

This company bears the burdens of a family business without reaping its benefits. It operates like a public corporation, emphasizing KPIs, demanding high annual growth, and enforcing long working hours. However, it lacks the familial warmth and understanding typically found in true family-run enterprises.
