Management required to deliver immediate wins and puts the pressure on everyone below them...leading to micromanaging and a 'what have you done for me today' mentality. Long hours and stressful environments are not uncommon. Trying to do more with less $$ puts pressure on staffing and coverage, project delivery. Lots of complexity with systems and processes, ignoring data quality needs when it comes to project funding at the business level ( not enough focus on the near term deliveries that will simplify and automate the creation of comprehensive client analytics and reporting at the business level). Too often culture and purpose don't align between what is on paper and how employees are treated.
