They wouldn’t even let me of for MY OWN wedding. I’ve had friends have go over by minutes on a day off and they get a 10 day suspension. I’m on a no call list and am called constantly for extra work when they have thousands of people furloughed and refuse to call them back to work. The railroad makes record profits and upper management makes bonuses of millions of dollars and they won’t pay good claims that we are contractually due. We work 24/7/365 and average 200+ Hours a month with at least 200+ hours in a hotel away from your home and family. We are often left on a train for 12+ hours. I personally have been left on a train for over 19 and no one cared. This is a toxic work environment and I do not recommend this to even my worst enemy. Do not work here.
