Good start to your career and plenty of areas/service lines to gain exposure, but don't stay too long
Pros
The 16 week parental leave policy, 7% 401k match, and vacation are great benefits. The terms around the benefits are getting worse each year, but these specific benefits themselves are still good.
Cons
The culture isn't great regardless of where you sit in the organization. Both middle management and top management are getting worse year after year. I have worked in several separate lines of business over my time with BNYM and each had its different styles of working and personalities, but all were toxic environments. If you do find one of the few smaller pockets with a good management hierarchy, you may want to stay in it, but then you are limiting yourself with opportunity and a higher salary which is already below market average compared to similar roles in the same cities.
