      Great to break into the investment operations field (But plan to take the bus to work).

      Pros

      Great for entry-level or those with irrelevant prior experience. Highly motivated individuals will find it exceedingly easy to succeed and stand out in a company where everyone strives to hit minimum work expectations (This is only a pro if you are a highly motivated individual).

      Cons

      Minimizing payroll expense is BNY Mellons greatest achievement. Great for the bottom line this year, but what will happen when all of the quality employees are hired on by the competition or move to other jobs? Recruiting and retaining the cheapest employees on Earth cannot be a sustainable strategy.

      Highly recognized name, learn entry-level skills in the finance/corporate world

      Cons

      Almost no opportunity for advancement, requires a bachelor's degree yet salary is barely more than a fast food assistant manager's, employee turnover rate over 20%, abundant outsourcing to India
