      Pros

      I am a current BNY Mellon employee. I have been with the company for 9.5 years. I have worked in various roles within asset servicing and finance. As a lower-level employee there were many opportunities for growth. In addition, I took full advantage of the tuition reimbursement plan and earned my MBA.

      Cons

      There is currently organizational restructuring which is causing many people to lose their jobs. Senior Management in Pittsburgh has been replaced by outsiders from JP Morgan and all higher-level positions have moved to New York City. Unfortunately, there is a glass ceiling in Pittsburgh and the job security is very questionable.

      Terrible job growth; They do not promote from within; Not enough real work so people get bored and need to steal other people's work to get noticed
