Pros
-Decent 401k plan with matching until vested -Clean facilities -Good paid vacation terms -Co-workers are "all in the same boat" so good camaraderie amongst those in the trenches
Cons
-Grossly underqualified management (no or low education, "street" style of management) -Nepotism and favoritism -Less than 1% salary increase per annum -No upward mobility (unless via nepotism or favoritism) -Often a hostile work environment in which entry-level workers, especially, are exploited by managers who pass their tasks on to underqualified employees -Job responsibilities increase with no increase in compensation -Low entry-level and mid-management salaries (stuck there for duration of employment)
