- relatively slow with decent work-life balance - some team members are really smart - benefits were ok

Cons

- no job stability as the company reduces its headcount - managers behaving awfully due to job instability: fake performance reviews, managing out good people - not many smart people around: much dead-weight especially at senior level who manage like it was 2000s - little career progression as the company reduces in size - risk model analytics: no interesting topics, much legacy models

The only pro is I currently have a paycheck

Terrible environment They take some sort of benefit away each year. The latest is letting people go due to downsizing and making up fake reviews to get out of paying severance earned. Crazy hours and expectations Dishonest, uncaring executive management constant layoffs The new operating model is a dumpster fire They are planning on firing any remote employees - if these folks don't move to a 'hub' location they will be considered as quit and therefore no severance.
