Terrible culture. Toxic environment. 50+ work weeks are the norm. Little to no acknowledgement of achievements. Only feedback is when something negative happens.

Pros

Got to work on latest technologies. It improved my technical skills to a great extent. Team and manager is very supportive. Top management has good vision. HR policies are employee friendly. Work culture is inclusive and healthy.

Cons

End to end rsponsiblity is on your head. It gives you opportunity to learn but there is no 4 eye check hence a lot of 11th hour issues come up when user actually starts to use developed application. Sometimes no work life balance.

1.) BNY Mellon has been a strong pillar of strength in the Corona pandemic times and has tried to provide every possible support and flexibility to ensure that we are able to perform our work efficiently and at the same time feel motivated. 2.) The virtual workplace is very dynamic and initiatives are taken at the Project/ Department/ Org level to make everyone feel engaged like pre- corona times.

Cons

1.) The workload at times becomes unmanageable (although there are instruments through which the concerns can be raised anonymously and it is being heard constantly). 2.) The rewards and pay can be better keeping in mind the quality work that is being done regularly.
