High turn over rate. Chaotic environment.

Pros

This is a good place to start and get experience. It has a lot of opportunity if you seek it out.

Cons

High turn over rate. There is no transparency with the upper management to the rest of the team. Upper management are smart but tends to not know how to run a business. There is no work life balance here.

Pros

I've never learned more in a shorter period of time ever in my career. Junior staff are highly motivated and supportive, I loved my coworkers. High expectations for client deliverables. I've heard from other BRG friends that other offices are better. It all depends on your manager. It made me a better analyst, motivated me to go to graduate school.

Cons

If you end up with a bad manager (as I did) you are in hell. Ended up working for an expert who all the other junior staffers refused to work with. I quit after seven months because HR listened to none of my complaints. HR is essentially non-existent. My office was definitely and old boys club, if you are a smart white male in management you can treat your junior staff however you want and rarely will it have consequences. Head of my office made disparaging comments about a woman on maternity leave.

Horrible Racist Place to Work

Pros

There were none. I had high hopes when I started this job during the pandemic after college but it was horrible. The

Cons

Racist and discriminatory. They only promote men and manager who suck up. There is no guidance. Its very throw your peers under the bus and they fired multiple black employees for no reason and unexpectedly during my time there. Random call from HR letting them no they were fired for the same thing white workers did. White managers are rude and dismissive to black and asian workers. Additionally, their small teams are toxic. There were multiple cases of sexual discrimination and management turned a blind eye. Before I left, there was a discrimination lawsuit pending.
