Pros

Small working teams and interesting exposure to a variety of case-driven work in complex industries. The analytical work was fairly creative and served as an effective means for furthering skills. Pursuit of professional credentials were encouraged and reimbursed up to a decent amount.

Cons

Unattractive overall compensation and excessive hurdles to advancement. Despite demonstrating capacity for projects at senior levels there was no willingness to fast-track any kind of advancement.

Incredible room for professional growth. Great group of people. Accessible Chairman and founding team. Meritocracy is BRG's guiding principle. If you a a self-starter and looking for a place to be recognized for your hard work, this is the place.

Cons

Long hours. If you are not a self-starter, you need not apply. BRG is a six year old start-up; but a start-up none the less. Start-ups are not for everyone.
