Pros

Amazing work environment (obviously this is office-specific). I have been working here for just under a month and have received a lot of direction from my superiors. They were all willing to help me out when I'm stuck on a task and they are extremely friendly. In the Tallahassee office, I use SAS, Stata, and Excel. However, I know there are others in a similar position who don't use all of them. I believe it depends on your experience and luckily I came in with a years worth of experience in SAS and Stata. They are also not against you pursuing a PhD in the future. The longest I've worked is 44 hours in a week so far, and that was over 7 days. Don't let that scare you because it was 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday, all from home. I generally work around 43 hours a week.

Cons

I don't always have work to do, but I'm generally kind of busy.

Pros

I Interned at BRG over the past summer and thought it was a great experience. The people are very welcoming and do a great job of making you feel at home. The work is rewarding and challenging without being overwhelming. The compensation is also competitive which doesn't hurt.

Cons

Being in the consulting industry, the work flow was inconsistent.
