Not the Company For You If You Are Administrative

Pros

Work with some renowned clients. The work in general is rewarding.

Cons

There are not any professional development opportunities available outside of your normal basic training for some Microsoft programs. There is not any sort of performance matrix so when the time comes for your evaluation you're at the disposal of interpretation from supervisors. They "run lean" on administrative employees. Choosing favorites and picking sides is rampant in some offices. Administrative employees are not treated fairly and not represented regarding bonuses and salary increases.

Great work environment

Pros

Amazing work environment (obviously this is office-specific). I have been working here for just under a month and have received a lot of direction from my superiors. They were all willing to help me out when I'm stuck on a task and they are extremely friendly. In the Tallahassee office, I use SAS, Stata, and Excel. However, I know there are others in a similar position who don't use all of them. I believe it depends on your experience and luckily I came in with a years worth of experience in SAS and Stata. They are also not against you pursuing a PhD in the future. The longest I've worked is 44 hours in a week so far, and that was over 7 days. Don't let that scare you because it was 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday, all from home. I generally work around 43 hours a week.

Cons

I don't always have work to do, but I'm generally kind of busy.
