- Co-workers can be an extremely bright group of people (varies by project) - Chicago office is very helpful, specifically IT support - Travel wasn't so terrible - Mon - Thursday, rare layovers - Salary was ok, mid-range for the level - Benefits decent, good package, matching 401k

Cons

- Bonuses truly based on popularity, not work - HPI Management does not hold conversations about HR issues sacred - A good-ole boy network even though the managers are a younger demographic (witnessed personally) - Problem managers are not addressed

Great workplace culture. Opportunity to work with really smart coworkers and experts from your first day at the firm. Very interesting cases requiring thoughtful work.

Cons

Work life balance is so-so. Bonuses aren't big enough to differentiate associates that really go over target on utilization. Lack of transparency on compensation and performance.
