Pros

Pay an benefits are good, location is great if you live n the east bay.

Cons

No Ethnic diversity at all. I was shocked to see only 3 African American employee, and even less Hispanics. You would think that out of maybe 75-100 employees at the Emeryville office you would see more diversity but that is not the case. Not only that Management is like a High school click. If you are not with the end crowd then you can potentially loose you job if you stand up for yourself. Lots of gossip and disrespect, People tend to do and and say what they want no matter if its border line harassment. Disrespectful attitudes seems to be the norm here which make working here very difficult. Even management will gossip and even lie just to protect folk that part of the "in-crowd". Most days I hate getting up in the morning, and cant wait to leave for the day. I have witness on more than one occasion an Female employee getting picked on to the point that she ran out the office crying her eyes out. No leadership and I would advise to stay away from this place

Abysmal Turnover Rate

Pros

Competitive Salary. Decent working environment.

Cons

Turnover rate is laughable. The "click" system is outrageous. The company is very unstable and it hires employees then fire them at will at an alarming rate.

Pros

Do you miss the 1800s? Fresh with racism, terrible management with lackluster backgrounds who have little to no finance skills? Then this is the place for you! I mean most of the management are accountants at tier 3 firms in tier 3 cities not really the cream of the crop. Horrible place to work where you will learn no skills other than sucking up 24/7. Don't believe me? Well just do a quick linkedin search and see how many juniors stay here for more than 2 years. Better yet reach out to previous juniors and they will tell you the truth.

Cons

Avoid this place like the plague. Better to be unemployed than working here. Also somebody posted a story about the secretary - and I can confirm it is true. Management is a bunch of old dying white guys that might miss the good old days when they were less impotent?? Not sure what causes this bad behavior but also not worth dealing with as a junior. Bad behavior is a function of incompetence. You don't ever see Warren Buffet or Jamie Dimon or any other respected leaders behave like that. Why? Because they dont need to put on a show like a circus animal because they are actually competent.
