1. Competitive compensation for jr consulting staff 2. Good job and school prospects for those beginning their career here, especially if you intend to pursue law, economics, or statistics/data science (talking specifically E&D practice here) 3. Jr consulting staff in DC are a smart, sociable, and very welcoming bunch 4. E&D practice has very interesting casework that allows you to somewhat plot your own path and offers a lot of autonomy and freedom when choosing where and how to bill your hours. For example, if you're super passionate about environmental cases, you can gain experience and earn a reputation among senior consulting staff in that space that will result in senior staff approaching you to work on their cases 5. 20 days PTO and 10 holidays given to entry-level consulting staff 6. Good benefits as far as I can tell 7. Rather relaxed atmosphere on most cases except when deadlines are fast approaching 8. Jr staff are supportive of each other. Haven't once witnessed ugly interactions or overt competition between staff.

Cons

1. BRG is a young and rapidly growing firm, and, as such, the internal structure is at times lacking. For example, there exists confusion around internal processes for hiring, onboarding, job listings, etc. with regards to who is responsible and what standards/guidelines to follow. This doesn't usually affect the day-to-day of consulting staff though. To the contrary, it sometimes feels like a benefit because there are many ongoing efforts across practices that consulting staff can take part in to develop better internal processes. 2. Better transparency/communication between firm executives and consulting staff would be nice. It's been nice that more meetings are being held to collect feedback regarding the consulting staff experience, but I'd like to see some more action. 3. Lack of diversity - particularly racial diversity and sexual orientation diversity
