      The hype is real. Great workplace and people.

      Pros

      Team positively encourages your growth. Lots of well-deserved promotions. You are challenged to do better than your last project and get out of your comfort zone. Managers are amazing and present, yet never micro-manage. Coworkers are smart and hilarious, and eager to help. An all-around great workplace.

      Cons

      None. Workload can be heavy only if you ignore your time management and communication skills. So, ask for help, and you will get it. Managers take into account how long projects take and if more help is needed. No Bainie is in this alone.

      Pros

      you'll learn a lot and you'll learn how to deal with really high-pressure situations (mostly because you'll be forced to)

      Cons

      unreasonably high workload that is just unsustainable, you get informally 'reviewed' (pd chat) at least once a month - so frequent that a lot of what is being evaluated is not actual performance, it is noise (e.g. you accidentally mis-spell a word one time and then it shows up in your review), unrealistically high expectations from management

      Exciting work, intelligent colleagues, fantastic professional development

      Cons

      Difficult hours (to be expected in consulting), but above all management needs to reemphasize zero-tolerance policy towards hate speech and bias, and act accordingly. Won’t go into detail, but certain language and opinions espoused by employees (even if it’s behind closed doors or online) really shouldn’t be tolerated at a place that touts diversity like Bain.
