      Incredible culture both in the New York Office and across the organization. Truly humble, interesting people that are a pleasure to work with.

      Cons

      Poor work life balance as team and client requests steamroll everything else. Being so client driven has the tradeoff of never being able to turn 'off'

      Pros

      Amazing people work at Bain. Smart, dedicated and humble coworkers make going in to the office everyday a joy.

      Cons

      Professional services does not create for a sustainable lifestyle and despite all its attempts, Bain doesn't do a good job balancing the load for individuals, particularly the best employees. The joke of "hiring insecure perfectionists" is somewhat true and exploited. Bain burns out the best and relies on the culture to keep people around.
