Amazing Culture with Amazing People

Pros

Everything I read about Baird before joining has been true so far. The culture is fantastic and breathes this entrepreneur-type spirit. I've never worked for a company that cares more about it's people. Management is great at giving people opportunities outside of their day job and provides tons of developmental support. The work/life balance is very attractive. Flexible work options and flex-hours give the employees the chance to step in and out as needed. If you want to grow your career, this is the place to go.

Cons

Only potential "con" is that because Baird is relatively large, it can be easy to get silo'd in your department. But many employees make it a priority to work cross-functionally.

Overall a great place to work

Pros

Great culture. Friendly people, laid back environment, no micromanagement which is great. Lots of events that foster relationship building between employees. There is also a great work/life balance.

Cons

Because the environment was so laid back, it opened up the door for sexual harassment under the guise of playing jokes. There was an incident where someone kept leaving large sausages in a young lady's chair. Another time her supervisor had her "open wide" for a treat. HR needs improvement. I reached out for help when I had an issue with my supervisor and they were no help at all.
