Sparse student population translated into desolate parking lots and short walk to the office.

Cons

Lots of layoffs. Missing an institutional direction and passion. False futuristic hope for a steadily declining institution. Much lower pay compared to other institutions. Only receive pay raises if you are in a system leadership role.

I love working for Baker College greatly due to the visionary leadership of our new President, Dr. Jacqui Spicer’s leadership is characterized by innovation, inclusion, and a genuine commitment to not only academic excellence but also to cultivating a vibrant company culture. Baker also has an extensive no cost benefits package. Our team is like a family and I love how we collaborate across departments.
