Pros

Free fruit in the morning and coffee machine. You get to work with some people who actually wanting to grow in their career

Cons

Redundancies every 6-12 months (many waiting to become redundant due to their long tenure) HR/company treats employees in a poor manner, Dont expect to be valued or treated respectfully When I started, the office was 6 floors, and when I left it was only the top floor, the atmosphere is not where you want to be.

Pros

The Manila department has a lot of skilled talents. All of the employees are welcoming, laid-back and mature, and have a deep sense of comradery with one another. Needless to say, the culture is amazing. In addition, the company also provides a lot of resources for upskilling, and the teams have a lot of agencies when it comes to the projects they're working on.

Cons

Because of a recent split in the company, the Manila department sort of got neglected. Working conditions went down the drain, strict company policies started getting enforced. Meeting rooms are no longer available, there's no privacy when consulting a manager regarding sensitive topics, and it feels like the vision went from productivity and development to micromanagement. Even before then, problems were always present when it comes to engineering direction. Timelines are always indefinite, business decisions constantly shift the priorities of long-planned initiatives, and the lack of human resources on Product results in poorly refined tasks.
