Pros

- free weekly lunch - nice colleagues - nice office view of dtla

Cons

When I joined, they listed the requirements needed to make commission which was really great. I was on a two person team and when we started the department, we were given no skills on how to structure it, given over 4 months of cases with unhappy customers needing to be de-escalated, and deadline to meet to get commission. We worked hard, and we went above and beyond the goals, improving client retention, regaining trust, and improving the image of Bambee. When it came time to go over commission, their mood changed. One of the managers, let it slip that they didn’t expect us to meet the requirements. What should’ve been a $3k commission turned into a few hundred dollars. A week went by, they bring us to a meeting to discuss the commission restructure. New metrics, and lower commission percentage. Upset, but we continue to do the work. Again, crushed our goals. Commission came again, and they found another excuse not to pay us. Then, the micromanaging came…having a manager literally sit directly behind us for our entire shift seeing how we work. Then new documents to sign because they “forgot” to give it to us in our onboarding. Constantly changing our desks around the office and isolating us. It was the absolute worst and guess what, they still owe me $3k in commission!

Pros

The snacks and people you work with outside of the management team.

Cons

If you're considering working here, RUN while you can. This company is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely disconnected from the reality of how to treat employees. Communication is chaotic, leadership is inconsistent, and there is little to no support for career growth or even basic job satisfaction. Promises are made but rarely kept, and upper management seems more concerned with appearances than actually fixing deep-rooted problems. Employee well-being is clearly not a priority — expect long hours, unclear expectations, be promised bonuses and receive nothing and a toxic environment that slowly drains your motivation and energy. Plenty of better opportunities exist elsewhere — don't waste your time here thinking things will improve. They won’t.
