Pros

This is a second, revised and more honest review for this company. I feel the need to balance out my previous "5" rating. As I’m sure many companies do, I was asked to do my first 5 star review by a manager shortly after I was hired. Some of the original things that drew me to Bambee are still true for an HR Account Manager: You will learn a lot, work in the Tech industry, have some good benefits, and work with some amazing people. You will see either 5 star or 1-2 star reviews here. People come in hopeful/excited and leave (because they are overworked/underpaid or are laid off on a whim) exhausted, disillusioned and often feeling used.

Cons

You should expect to work long hours for not enough pay, have constant and unexplained changes made to processes, have too many metrics to follow, and should not have the expectation of promotion. The company laid off a number of hard working and dedicated HR Managers as well as all of the Managers on the team without cause and are now advertising to rehire for the same positions. They also did this massive layoff without any post-layoff plan whatsoever. This has left THOUSANDS of clients hanging without an HR Manager assigned, they are working the current team without any real management, and are expecting the current HR Managers to pick up all of the extra work. When I first started there was a clear path as to how you could grow within the company by being promoted to a manager, but this is no longer the case. Additional issues: For a “SaaS” company the technology is WAY behind. It impacts all of the teams and makes the jobs of everyone more time consuming and difficult. Where there used to be transparency about the company and where it’s at this is no longer the case. Executive turnover is high and the “plan” is constantly changing. HR Managers and lower management end up trying to defend decisions or go along with them when the real issue is the lack of good executive leadership and communication. If you are looking for a remote job where you can learn a lot in a short amount of time then this still may be a good stepping stone. However, you should go into this job with an exit plan in place.

Toxic and Micromanaged

Pros

Benefits, remote work (employees outside of LA)

Cons

Toxic work environment, Micromanaged through 15+ metrics, 100% of your calls are audited and all metrics results are shared with the company. They use shame to get you to work harder. You are held to these metrics even when you're sick with COVID. There's no time or room to use your unlimited PTO. Commission is revised every month- mid month. Goals are also changed up and made impossible to reach.

Pros

It's a temporary job that attempts to onboard new talent with false company culture and values.

Cons

The company is known for coercing its new employees to write positive reviews. It's a highly unethical practice demonstrating the desperation of their poor leadership, They are not accountable.
