      Great place to start if you don't want to paid what you're worth

      Pros

      The people you work with are truly amazing. Great leadership who takes their time to do the right thing. The Bamboo values aren't just something they stick up on the wall, everyone lives by them during work hours and outside of work. Truly a great company. Great place to get a jump start on your career.

      Cons

      The benefits are great but they don't make up for the severly low compensation. Your direct manager is only allowed to approve up to 1 hour of overtime every pay period and unfortunately management doesn't realize that some teams have to work overtime because we have to hit deadlines for our clients employees to get paid. In payroll, there is a lot of micromanagement. If you don't like to be micromanaged, payroll is not for you. There is a lot of career growth at Bamboo, but if you start in Customer Experience and try to make a jump to another department, you are going to have a difficult time. When I interviewed for this job, I was not told what the position would be. Some of us thought it was a sales position and it is not. Be completely transparent with what the role is during the interview process.

We try really hard to make sure that we explain each position clearly and even send a survey to all new hires and ask specifically about that. Hopefully you were open about your experience there as well. In terms of compensation, we're constantly trying to live our value of "Do the Right Thing" and continually do market research to make sure we're on target with fair compensation.       Amazing Company to Work For!

      Pros

      -They really do care about their employees. Not just as an employee but as an individual person. -The benefits are freaking awesome. You won't find a job with better benefits anywhere else. -It is a fun place to work! The people are so nice and you feel like you have a whole new set of friends starting on your first day. They play games at lunch and have fun meetings and parties. -They really care about what they do. They believe in their product and truly want to change the lives of HR Reps everywhere. This makes it so much easier to work every day when you're supporting a product that works well. -They leave left over creamies and ice cream in the freezers at work for anyone to enjoy whenever they want.

      Cons

      -None. There seriously are no cons to working here.
