BambooHR bringing new meaning to Culture and Work Life Balance

I chose to work for BambooHR after learning more about their culture. I had many friends that had worked here previously that ranted and raved about how great the culture is. From the moment I stepped into the door for my interview, you could feel that these Bambooligans enjoy what they are doing. The atmosphere is welcoming, enjoying, and truly represents a worklife balance. BambooHR also has company values that have truly helped shape my life here at work and as well at home.

Cons

This is not always a fit for everyone. How can that be a con? Very simple. The type of enviornment that BambooHR offers makes it so that you want everyone to enjoy it and be a part of it. But the truth is, this type of atmosphere does not fit everyones' needs or wants. So I can rant and rave about how great it is and all the pros but until you experience it for yourself and determine if it is right for you, you might never know if it is a right fit.

When interviewing at a company, recruiters are looking to see if you would be a good fit for the company. When I interviewed at BambooHR, I learned that BambooHR was a perfect fit for me. Company culture at BambooHR are not just values you learn about your first day and never hear about again. It is something that is thread through every decision made, for both the customer and the employee. WORK/LIFE BALANCE. This is the reason I applied here. I heard that you could work hard at work and then go home at the end of the day and leave your job at work. I struggled with balancing the two before working here and honestly couldn't wrap my mind around the idea of it. After working for Bamboo for over a year, I can tell you that it is REAL. We do great work and then we go home. I feel valued here. I'm not just an employee at BambooHR, I feel that myself and everyone here is a valuable contributor to the overall success of the company. We are encouraged to and given the resources to be open with ideas, concerns and questions.

Honestly, I can't think of anything. I mean, I sat here for 15 minutes trying to think of something.

Simply refreshing from the norm. Amazing senior leadership who truly live the company values. There is a reason we have talented team members here at BambooHR. Have loved my employment experience to date and have no plans of leaving any time soon.

Cons

There are not a lot of career growth opportunities for experienced team members.
