Pros

Bancroft is a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with autism, other intellectual and developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. It has a rich history of providing innovative services and is mission-driven in all of its endeavors. Working at Bancroft is truly a rewarding experience. Bancroft offers comprehensive benefits, flexibility, and competitive salaries. Additionally, its executive leadership team is dedicated and motivating. One thing I love about Bancroft's executive leadership team is their open mind to new projects and improvements.

Cons

My commute is further in this position than in prior roles with other employers. However, flexible work arrangements, including working from home, and other benefits associated with working for this organization more than compensate for this con.

Service excellence, philosophy of care, management supports change, emphasis of safety of employees and persons served, well-known in NJ/ PA/ DE

Cons

Not-for-profit organizations do not offer strong opportunities for salary increases, however working at a not-for-profit with a strong mission in which you believe serves as compensation... Bancroft's mission is a reason to work at this organization despite lack of opportunities for rapid growth within a job position.
