There are many pros about working at Bancroft. Bancroft is full of opportunity for learning and growth. Bancroft has a great team of professionals that are always willing to provide support and assure our persons served are well cared for. My number one pro is helping our persons served work towards their goals and independence.

Excellent benefits! A REAL feeling of supporting children in need in a pleasant environment Supportive, knowledgeable staff contributes to personal & professional growth Excellent resources, especially around technology Commitment to individuals served and a dedicated, respectful staff is impressive

Cons

Commute is long Salary could be better (I'm used to the Philadelphia pay scale) Workspace (cubicle) is quite small

Pros

Bancroft attracts special folks who want to work with a special needs population that can be challenging. Therefore, bonding with colleagues is easy and a family culture exists in the school programs. Bancroft has come a long way in becoming an organized, well run organization where integrity towards it's person served is most important.

Cons

Bancroft is a large organization so someone working there needs to be comfortable with that and accept the policies and procedures that go along with it. There are many perks associated with working for a large corporation too like career development, etc. Bancroft loves to promote from within.
