Band it is in a nitch market with deep roots. Cousin Eddie could hold the position of president for 5 years without any adverse effect to its bottom line. This helps explain the selections they have made for that position over the last couple decades. I'm approaching 50 of personal and/or business involvement with the company. It is a strong profitable company that cares for and develops its employees until their ready for someone new.
Cons
Out with the old and in with the new strategies creates a depressing feel of continouse restructuring. Anyone with 10 years plus of employment feel that they are on the bubble and rightfully so. Company definitely makes some people, but has ruined many.
It's a repeating cycle of new upper management driving disruption to efficiencies and KPIs, bench marking the new lows and taking credit for, if they're lucky, getting it back to where it was before their restructure.
