      Pros

      Fair pay and good 401K benefits. No sales goals but could happen in the future. Good hours.

      Cons

      Upper management is blind to how employees are being treated by their supervisors. Company is so scared of being sued they sweep a lot of things under the rug and won't listen to employees concerns. When HR does hear of something they don't protect the person telling them. They expect everyone to go above and beyond which in itself is ok but they give nothing back in return.

      Pros

      Pay is okay depending on the department your in. Good 401k. No waiting period for paid holidays. Three free Bank of the Ozarks shirts that can be worn with jeans. Headquarters looks nice.

      Cons

      1st thing there is not a lot of training for positions that require training in order to be accomplished. People act like giving you the correct training will make them loss their job. Hard to get advancement with no training. Any training they do provide is the bare minimum. Racism is a big problem at this bank. They are not as diverse as they claim to be. Managers love to be sucked up too as well. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone not even my worst enemy.

      Pros

      Relationships with co-workers and some customers made the job tolerable. Oh and the slow days. Those are the only pros that come to mind.

      Cons

      Terrible pay. Even worse benefits. 401k is okay, though you have to work there YEARS before you are fully vested. If you get hired on as a part of their retail staff be prepared to take on many job responsibilities with no monetary compensation and absolutely zero respect. Basically, the retail staff is the workhorse of the company. HR is an absolute nightmare. They only care about protecting the bank's interest so if you actually have a problem at work, don't expect them to help you out with anything. If you are thinking about working here, don't. There is absolutely no room to move up. Upper management loves to hire good ole boys, who know little to nothing about the company. The most you might be able to do is be a branch manager, MAYBE a loan assistant if you suck up to the right person. Seriously, don't even entertain the thought of working here and if you already do, quit.
