Lack of training and pay.

Pros

-Laid back working environment.. Though I've heard differently from other colleagues, so I guess it depends on your department. -Great for entry-level job seekers with interest in banking -Benefits and holidays

Cons

-No training whatsoever, leaving fellow under-experienced co-workers to "train" new employees. -Underpaid. Depending on the position, you might be better off working part time as a server at a restaurant. -Traditional Korean. If you're not familiar with titles and hierarchy in the Korean business world, you better get familiar with it ASAP. -Seems like the upper management does not care about anyone below them.. which is probably true.

Pros

Will give, in my opinion, a very inflated salary for external experienced recruits.

Cons

Existing employees are routinely taken advantage of and passed over for promotions. Salary increases are minimum merit increases.
