Massive Corruption, Dysfunctional Board

Pros

CEO is loyal to 3% of the stock holder-a man who controls 3% of the stock. The rest of the stock holders are ignored. He helps make sure the son of that 3% stock holder becomes the next generation CEO. CEO is loyal to the consulting firm he used to work for---he gives that firm millions of dollars of worth of business with zero quality control and I am sure he gets no kickback.

Cons

The board is completely dysfunctional. They allows all the corruption to happen right under their nose. They even allow the CEO to cover it all up by firing the head of audit and the Chief Risk Officer.

Pros

Health benefits were solid and covered most essentials.

Cons

Long hours with little work-life balance. Outdated corporate culture with limited upward mobility. Compensation is below industry standard for the workload. Poor communication between departments and leadership.

Pros

Working here can help build mental resilience, as the environment can be extremely challenging.

Cons

Career advancement is very limited, and compensation is significantly below market—estimated at 30–50% lower than industry average. If you’re on an H1B visa, proceed with caution!! The company will offer an extreme low salary knowing that your can't switch employers. Annual raises are minimal to nonexistent, and promotions are very rare. So here may be a suitable short-term option to gain experience, but it's advisable to plan your exit within 1–2 years.
