I joined a team that dealt with more complex loans so it was a great learning opportunity Nice people all around the company who are willing to mentor/help if you ask No office politics

Cons

Work/life balance depends on your function. BDs have more flexible hours while credit works late. I worked at the HQ building and it was unbecoming. We never wanted our clients to have meetings in our office because it was not a nice place. Operations department had difficulties in handling complex credit facilities

Small so you get experience in a lot of avenues. The workplace culture is very strong, you are expected to be close to your coworkers. However the benefits were really good, but not good enough to make up for the salary.

Cons

Since its small the pay is pretty bad and you also end up doing a lot of different work, good and bad. The workplace culture is very strong, the office politics sometimes gets really out of hand.
