      Good education, bad office

      Pros

      They give you a good base of knowledge on the industry. The training package both classroom and online is very good.

      Cons

      False promisses and omisions about actual cost. Trainers are supposed to help new agents but seem to ride along to get their own commision. You are supposed to be independent by they tell you where and when you can work.

      Pros

      Theoretically, you are a 1099 contractor. They paint the rosy picture regarding trips and earnings. However, in reality, they expect you to give up weekends and evenings for 6 months. - everything is bet on residuals, in which 75% are not around anymore to benefit. The "orphan accounts" and then given to only a few of the inside people.

      Cons

      You DO NOT have any access to managment to get questions answered from policyholders. They invoke the word "green time" and you are chastised if you take a call from a policyholder during these 2 hr blocks of time. This is NOT what customer service is about. "Do what I say, NOT what I do, is the manager's mantra."

      Pros

      Good work environment. Group definitely likes to work hard and party harder. The opportunity is great if you are able to get in front of enough people

      Cons

      COLD CALLING. Its all about getting in front of people. If you can't trick someone into meeting with you over the phone, you won't make it.
