Pros

Relaxed working environment (for the most part), bank holidays, work/life balance are good.

Cons

Outdated systems, cumbersome tasks making it take longer than a typical bank to push through a commercial loan. Management cares much more about specific verbiage on credit memos (inhouse only documents) than the actual big picture loan. Credit analysts are not writers, they are analysts... they focus on the math and the meat of the deal and should not be expected to be expert technical writers.
