Pros

I had great managers. The other employees were friendly and helpful. Allows you to switch after 6 months of working on one unit if you are experienced.

Cons

not enough support from other interdisciplinary teams (respiratory - RN’s do most breathing treatments + RN’s do stat labs, not enough lab techs sometimes whole floors would be assigned to one lab tech. Lots of new grad RN’s with less than a year on high acuity floors.

Pros

Decent pay and the cafeteria food is ok..

Cons

Company does not allow overtime. Must flex it out during lunch. Each clinic makes their own rules. There is no work-home life balance. Management can be late often with no repercussion but other staff will get an occurrence. You can’t take time off work if you do not have the PTO-even if you opt out of being paid. Company does not pay for holidays. It comes out of your own PTO. If you call in sick without 24 hour notice and you do not have sick PTO ( protected) you will get an occurrence.
