      Pros

      At the senior ranks you are given high autonomy.

      Cons

      Lack of culture. You can work at Barclays for years and not know your coworkers. Just another cog on the wheel. You are disposable. Expect your supervisor to be a spectator and solely rely on outside reviews, will not try to get to know you at all. One size fits all metrics are all that matters. Very “sterile” feeling around the office. You end up doing everyone else’s job given lack of accountability. Outdated tech/slow systems.

      Pros

      The pay is decent& health coverage is good.

      Cons

      Insane call volume, not real good training, constant changing within the company. Upper management dosent even let managers know what's going on to lower employees. They lie about moving up. Got to stay within metrics to not get written up & keep your job - that's if they don't outsource your unit & lay you off.

      Pros

      Barclays has a decent pay. Not bombarded with an overfill of calls depending on what department you’re in.

      Cons

      Management and higher ups are all over the place. You are constantly being graded on new information that changes constantly. There is no foundation to new information given. There is a lot of favoritism that goes on within higher ups so unless you’re scratching someone’s back constantly say good bye to any future promotions. You’re treated very replaceable in any role of any department. There is a lack of support which is crucial in this role.
