      Pros

      Its good to work for a market leader, especially in a falling market

      Cons

      Technology management is appalling and quality is quite low. A lot of dead wood in management positions. No investment is made in process improvement and technology direction changes every year based on the latest buzz-words.

      Pros

      Some good reasons are the money you get paid is quite nice. You are also not worrying about dealing with people in the US.

      Cons

      After working here I realize that the money that Barclays pays is very good. It however attracts the people who are only it for the money and not people who want to make a difference. The turnover rate here is very high so there is no real way to bond and form relationships. A lot of people are also from outsourcing companies and the level of sincerity to the job is very low.
