Pros

This would make a great first professional job. For someone that does not have any experience and is wanting to get their feet wet. That's it.

Cons

During a conference, the CEO said, "if you want a compliment about your work, reach your hand over your shoulder and pat yourself on the back" Very poor culture. The management team is also toxic and does not support any growth opportunities. The entire executive team is made up of pompous white males and one female. So much for diversity in the workplace.

Pros

Good salary, freedom to pursue your job duties in the way you see fit, a ton of autonomy, great people, very encouraging

Cons

Getting a raise is extremely rare, the gender wage gap seems to be alive and well here, not much room for advancement unless you're going to open a new branch, benefits are lacking, and employee perks don't exist (you are there to do a job and that is it, no Christmas bonus, no office parties, no thank you a from corporate, and highly discouraged for branches), have been investigated multiple times by the trade commission

Pros

BBSI has hired some very talented people and does great work assisting and guiding small business owners. I think Gary Kramer, the new CEO, is very smart and hopefully will make some big changes. They are needed!

Cons

The benefits were horrible. One week of vacation the first year and no ability to participate in the 401k until you have been there one year. The incentive plan is extremely hard to understand how to make money. Favoritism is rampant. Be careful which office you decide to work in, some managers are so hands off that they don’’t communicate with the employees.
