Autonomy My branch had good people Mostly good clients trying to grow their business

Cons

The executive team is seriously out of touch. The reviews might seem a bit harsh but I worked here for several years...they’re simply not nice people and it’s a struggle to want to work for them. The only saving grace will be how well your branch manager runs interference. The annual meetings are a total joke. The concept of zero raises is 100% true as is the culture of almost never promoting. If you’ve had a good career and want to find a nice pasture to live out your career it’s fine. Just be prepared to live or die by the work comp expense to your branch. At the end of each quarter that’s all that really matters to your bonus.

Pros

Any pros that were once available to employees have been stripped away and no longer exist. The only positive thing that can be said is there are a few hidden gems within the organization.

Cons

Micro management structure, weak internal managers throughout, inconsistent enforcement of rules and expectations. Benefits are extremely expensive. Bonuses have disappeared and the calculation of profit sharing is not transparent.

Hiring process was good, though I did not realize the turnover was so high

Cons

Terrible business model and poor management. When I was there employees cam and left at will all day long with no management oversight. After I was hired I was advised no raises - ever, you are paid what you were hired for. Hopefully you can qualify for a bonus at some point, but it is insurance oriented and businesses buy insurance because they don't know what might happen to them. If there are a lot of losses in your branch - no bonus no matter how much your sales/business has increased. No one there understands insurance or what the laws are for customers, I don't even understand how they are allowed to operate in California.
