Upper management's lack of true leadership and mentoring abilities (w/in the MSP organization...not sure about the Staffing side) leads to too many good workers leaving or being fired (more turnover than should be). This attitude has created an environment of disrespect amongst a number of employees on the MSP side toward upper management, between co-workers ("Jr. High" mentality...talking about one another, negatively on a consistent basis), and surprisingly clients too. Instead of the organization looking at how to improve morale and thereby facilitating individual career growth, which leads to greater corporate growth and success, no attempt seems to be made to change the culture. Everyone is out for themselves to "CYA", instead of collectively looking at how to grow and improve the corporate culture. Work does get done, which I suppose is the bottom line, but they don't understand, or seem to care, about the negative effects on the "team". Ones "mistakes" or lack of knowledge is pointed out in front of peers, almost as a "negative reinforcement" approach. I'm not sure how far up the "food chain" this management style goes, but at present it is into the VP ranks of the MSP organization.
