Emphasis on safety (usually)

Pros

Most/all equipment is provided. Varied outdoor work environment. Supportive learning environment (usually)

Cons

The arboriculture industry attracts some hot-headed individuals ("cowboys") who are too impatient to teach new hires and are too self-absorbed to consider the safety of coworkers. The pay could be better, but Bartlett provides many opportunities for raises and promotions, especially to those with college degrees. Sales reps will sometimes under-bid jobs to make quotas, putting crews in a position where they are expected to finish jobs faster than is safely feasible.

Pros

Performance reviews often, paid training off site within Bartlett and out of. If your into trees and the science behind it, this place is for you.

Cons

Less hours in the winter, not always the best organised in the office.
