Horrible work life balance. Upper management required to work 50 hours a week. No balance in days off. Always on a split schedule so planning personal time is impossible.

As a clerk, you have way more responsibilities than a cashier, but are paid exactly the same. As a clerk you stock for dairy, water, and beer but also get called up to cashier when needed. There isn’t really an incentive to becoming a clerk because it’s more work and responsibility, but the same pay as a cashier.
