Pros

They pay a really fair base wage but the managers don’t make much more than the associates. You get to learn some really good tech skills.

Cons

Managers work six days a week every other week, for no reason. Don’t get paid enough. They raised the minimums to get commission and lowered the commission cap.

Pros

If you're somebody that really enjoys learning about something, there are ample opportunities at Batteries Plus. Being able to do something specialized like repairing a smart device or programming a key fob are experiences you won't get elsewhere, and typically the name of the game is focused on genuinely helping the customers walking through the doors.

Cons

Experiences tend to vary across locations, corporate doesn't enforce any sort of minimum salary for those that get industry certifications, which in turn causes staffing issues. Corporate also appears to be more focused on their own product lines as opposed to their competitiveness in the market where it matters, and their support channels can often times be unhelpful, if not downright disrespectful.

Pros

With the constant use of always having different customers coming through the door and always fulfilling the needs. There is a lot of freedom when working in a franchise that will treat you the correct way.

Cons

Batteries Plus can have some downsides when it comes to putting in long hours and not getting compensated for them.
