Pros

Departments are advised to work together and you can get valuable insight into all aspects of a start-up business. Accounting team is relatively small which allows you to show your value by contributing and helping out as much as possible. You can also learn a lot of accounting concepts and reporting standards working with team members with years of experience in diverse backgrounds. Coworkers are phenomenal and you become part of a family !

Cons

Not as many company-endorsed events to network outside of work with fellow employees. Few opportunities to learn more about the overall direction of the company from upper-management.
