Hard to get anything accomplished

Pros

-Coworkers were great, very supportive -The company loves to hire from within, so it's easy to get promotions if you work hard

Cons

-There was a culture of fear. Fear of being reprimanded, fired, laid off, ect. This made it difficult for people to bring new ideas to the table or "rock the boat" in order to get things done or make improvements -The work/life balance was way out of whack. -Managers were not given proper authority to get anything done. This made even small tasks monumental to achieve, what with all the red tape.

Pros

The company has many great products. Senior leaders are willing to invest in acquisitions for new products and technologies. Company is financially stable and sound. Good work life balance.

Cons

Limited ability to develop products in-house. R&D process is slow to non-existent. Limited upward mobility unless you are inner circle. Few senior leaders able or willing to make a decision by themselves, almost always seek group thought/agreement before moving forward. Limited career development plan. Talking points sounds good, but an actual plan clearly communicated to the employees would be nice.
