Pros

Gain a lot of experience, Great family on individual shift, Great insurance, Pay is descent for the area. Great sense of accomplishment knowing you're saving lives every single day.

Cons

Upper-Management does not award those who actually does their job. I work 50+ hours a week (get paid for 40) and no one notices. No recognition. Been on an off shift for 2 years while others who do not much about the process or perform well get to a more preferred shift. Getting moved to a preferred shift is treated as a promotion. Horrible work life balance. Find yourself thinking about work while you're off.

Pros

There are learning opportunities within Baxter. Probably the first three years will be of new learnings, After that it is all repetitive. IF you are ok with that and like to settle then this is a good company. But, if you like to change thins and be in constant learning and move up within the scale, then you would have to switch jobs after 3-5 years.

Cons

Salary is low than when compared to other medical device companies.
