Pros

I felt the work-life balance was good. There were times where it could feel overwhelming and candidates can be rude to you. But if you don't take it personally it's fine. If you're lucky and have a good supervisor, the work is a million times better. I had one decent and one amazing supervisor there and it made all the difference. I felt I had a good amount of power in coming to them with issues or when asking for a raise.

Cons

The company's executive leadership does not seemed concerned with the wellness of their employees. It's a healthcare company, and yet would force their employees to take PTO when they had Covid. They have no sick days, and other benefits were lacking. It felt like leadership structure and policies changed every 3 months. Just basically out of touch.

Pros

The location is in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Cons

Worst culture I have ever encountered. Everyone there is dead inside. Management expects employees to work themselves to death. If you don’t kill yourself to get the job done, site head sends out emails to scold departments, dropping employees names in the emails. All systems and procedures are very outdated. Majority of things are forced into compliance. Only concern is batch deposition. Attendance policy is terrible. They use a point system, so if you call out or leave work early, no matter the reasoning, you receive a point and those points are used against your raise and bonus at the end of the year. Promotions are rare. Employees stay in current role for at least 2 years and up to 5 years, even at entry level. Employees don’t receive company match unless you stay for 3 years.
